With over 20 years in the building industry, Brendan specialises in problem-solving and client relations. He finds great satisfaction in seeing plans become reality and still loves getting his hands dirty on the tools. Brendan’s expertise in bringing forever homes to life is at the core of BLJ Building’s success.

A hairdresser by trade, Cass has embraced multiple roles as the business has grown. She now expertly juggles admin, payroll, social media, and website management. Cass’s adaptability and diverse skill set have been integral to BLJ’s growth and operations.

Dominic brings extensive experience in construction to BLJ Building. With specialised training in timber flooring, he focuses on the fine details that make each BLJ home unique. Having acquired his Certificate IV in Building and Construction, Dom is keen to expand his knowledge in quoting and business aspects.

Laine’s wealth of knowledge in domestic building, coupled with his background in cabinetry making, allows BLJ Building to provide custom joinery in-house. His expertise has elevated our wardrobe designs and built-in cabinetry, adding another layer of quality to our custom homes.

Estimating and Supplier Relations Manager
Lauren has masterfully managed her role from day one, keeping our suppliers and trades on schedule. Her efficiency extends to providing timely prompts to Brendan when needed, ensuring smooth operations across all projects.

With years of experience in the building industry, Cody thrives on the variety that comes with custom home construction. He’s skilled in all aspects of the build, bringing versatility and expertise to every project (though he admits concreting isn’t his favourite task).

3rd Year Apprentice Carpenter
Mitch brings a strong work ethic from his small-town farming background, making him a vital team member. Currently mastering all aspects of custom home construction, he approaches each task with enthusiasm, yet to settle on his preferred specialty.

2nd Year Apprentice Carpenter
As the newest addition to the BLJ Building team, Tom has quickly proven himself to be hardworking with a drive for knowledge. He’s eager to complete his training in construction and continues to impress with his dedication to the craft.
